Starting out as a small manufacturer of processed metal parts in 1949, we have now earned a strong reputation in Japan as a comprehensive manufacturer of writing instrument parts, including mechanical pencils, ballpoint pens, and fountain pens.
It’s no exaggeration to say that this is the result of consistently meeting diverse needs with our outstanding technical capabilities, rivaling even those of finished product manufacturers, thanks to our deep-drawing precision metal processing and original mechanisms, which are our greatest strengths. Supplying Ohhira mechanisms domestically and internationally, we have adopted the new concept of “global standard products” and begun to turn our attention from Japan to the world. Our products are currently used in 87 countries around the world, and we are proud that their high quality and reliability truly live up to their “global standard.”
We hope to further contribute to the development of the global writing instrument market in the 21st century. We aim
